Happy New Year!!

2012 is knocking at the door and I can't believe time went by so quickly! 2011 started off pretty badly because Beezee got injured and needed surgery but the upside to that was I got a new job at the pet place. I hope I get a decent raise for my one year anniversary!

For 2012, I'm not making New Year's Resolutions. Every time I make them I don't follow through really with the exception that I did lose some weight in 2011 but not enough. So, for 2012, I'm making a "shit-I-need-to-do-or-I'm-never-moving-out-of-my-mother's-house" list!

The "shit-I-need-to-do-or-I'm-never-moving-out-of-my-mother's-house" List:

1. Look for a better paying job
2. Pay off/down debts (I'm pretty sure I have more debt now entering 2012 than I did for 2011)
3. Lose weight! (doesn't have much to do with moving out but you get my point)
4. Save money to get a car

And I'm very determined for this year to lose the 30 lbs or so that I need to lose! I say "or so" because I might stop before I reach 125 lbs if I like the way I look. I don't remember what clothing size I was when I did weigh 125. 

Like my writing? I haven't used my tablet in a while so it was interesting trying to write on this.

Kong!

My mom bought Beezee the Kong On The Go Palm Retractable Leash today! It's in blue and it's a nice blue color too. A while ago, I saw a customer come into the store with her dog and she had this leash. For a moment I couldn't figure out how she had it on her arm until she got closer.

I can't wait to use this with Beezee! It's so exciting.

NYX Polishes

The other day while walking home through the mall from work, I decided to stop off at the wig shop that carries NYX cosmetics. I was shocked to that the store had actually re-stocked the display. It was a very sad looking display. So I ended up buying 4 nail polishes by NYX, a Jumbo eye pencil in Milk, and two hair combs.

I'm a bit late with this. Sorry! I have just been super tired lately. Okay so I had mentioned in a past post that my mother bought me some nail art supplies for Christmas and this is the post about the company along with pictures of what I got. And a bit of a review at the same time.

For a while I have been looking an comparing different nail art supply shops on eBay which lead me to Everbella's eBay store. I bought a few things from them, nothing all that important, and kind of forgot about them. Then Christmas rolled around making me think about what I wanted as presents and thinking about who was going to get me what. To make it easy on my mother I told her she can just pay for some supplies for me but I kept it around $20 so she wouldn't complain.

What I got for Christmas!

My Christmas Eve and Christmas went rather well. I got things I liked and the people I gave gifts to liked the ones that they received. I also did a cute hair style for Christmas. I don't normally do my hair besides straightening it so this was a big deal.

For a few weeks I have been a member of Barking Deals, which is kind of like Groupon but for dog and cat deals instead, and I had been looking at Dawgs on the Go's DawggieGoPak for a while. Then about last week Barking Deals had a deal for it! Instead of paying $19.99 for the DawggieGoPak, I got it for $10.00 and with free shipping! I'm ecstatic! Lol

Moving on! I bought a few things today while hanging out with my cousin. We went to Target and to Sally Beauty Supplies. The majority of these items I will be using towards my overall look for Christmas. :)

Christmas Nails Week 3!

Here is week 3 of Christmas nails. Once again, I had another idea for the nails for this week but then that just wasn't working out. Then I had come up with another idea and did something with that but that ended up not coming out as nice as I wanted so I had to change that too. Second part to the second idea I had is the reason why my nails look a little weird.

Alive

I'm still alive. It's just been because of the holidays that things have gotten a little crazy and I've been really tired lately. I am so not looking forward to next week at work because that is when the stores are starting their holiday hours. So instead of being opened until 9pm, we'll be opened until 10pm. I see nothing good coming out of this. The customers that will be coming in will be either idiot college students, not that I have anything aganist college students it's just that they ask the most idiotic questions and want to hold all the animals, or we're going to have drunk customers coming into the store.

Where I work is located next to a supermarket and a bunch of different kinds of eateries, most of which serve alcohol. Definitely not looking forward to that.

I should have a new nail art design posted tomorrow. I decided to sleep in today so I don't have enough time to do a nail design before work because my idea is going to be very time consuming. Even more so than the Christmas trees I did last week.

Candlelight Peel Candy

Weird title right? But that's what sums up this blog post.

Saturday, the 10th, I went to Epcot. I love Epcot. It's my favorite park at Walt Disney World. For the past 3 years or so, I have been going with my friend, her mom, and her daughters to the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. The Candlelight Processional package involves eating at one of the participating restaurants at the park and then you get tickets which guarantees seating to watch a famous person (usually an actor/actress) tell the story of Christmas and there is singing of Christmas songs.

This year, Neil Patrick Harris narrated for the day we wanted to go.

My friend and I were over the moon when he came out. He was just too cute.

Christmas Nails Week 2!

Here we go for another week! I'm getting better at this whole posting more often thing. Oh let me say something real quick about the CND Toughen Up polish I bought. It lasts. Yesterday, at work, I cleaned fish tanks and the polish stayed on my nails. There wasn't any peeling or anything. It is what I used as my base for this week's nails. And obviously, I have internet back!

The nail design I had planned was going to be something else but then I changed my mind to a different design but then I changed my mind again. I'm very indecisive. lol

No Internet

Today around 5pm, as I sat watching tv and chatting with friends and family on my laptop, the power flickered for a second and then came back on.

The internet did not.

I don't know why this always happens. I have internet through Brighthouse and this is going to be the 3rd time this year that they are coming to fix something wrong with the modem.

I'm pretty sure they are going to try to charge me at a certain point because of too many calls. I was going to have a christmas nails of the week blog posted today .but that did not happen due to the internet going out.

Here's hoping the technician comes early and solves the problem.

Cat Attack 2011

Roughly an hour ago, I was attacked by a cat that was originally trying to attack Beezee.

This damn dog.

We were walking around my apartment complex, went down a different little area, and the way was no where around. When I feel Beezee tugging, I look over and there is the cat on like its tippy-toes with its tail all poofed out hissing at the dog.

Christmas Nails Week 1!

HELLO!  I know I said I was going to post some things before the end of November but work happened. However, I do have planned to do Holiday nail designs for each week of December. I was supposed to have one posted yesterday but the design I had in my head did not translate that well onto the test nail.

It's the day after Thanksgiving and did I do any shopping today...nope. The stores did not have anything I really wanted and the thing I did want, a DSLR, none of the stores had any decent sales on them. I'll try again closer to Christmas.

However, I did manage to get new Color Club nail polishes! I found the sets at Burlington Coat Factory.

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it! If not, then just know that most Americans will be stuffing their face with lots of food and then heading out a few hours later to do shopping and try to get deals on items at stores.

I am planning to do some Christmas-themed posts once December hits. And I should be posting a few things before the month of November ends...even though there's only 6 days left for the month.

Shopping

I did some shopping recently that I will be posting pictures of tomorrow I bought nail polish mostly but there were a few other things that weren't nail related. I bought some things from Walgreens, Ulta, Sally Beauty Supply, and at a salon place at the mall that near to wear I live. The colors I got are pretty nice but I still need to swatch them. 

In other news, I broke the nail on my right index finger at work and was not pleased. When I was younger my nails were so much nicer because I didn't have to do any dealings with boxes and heavy bags. I really want a new job that will help me salvage my nails. One day. 

Okay enough of the pity party but I should have pictures posted tomorrow or the following day. We'll see what happens.

I have been feeling like crap lately. I don't know why but it has been a major pain in the butt. Probably has something to do with the time change and everything. I'm usually better after a week with time changes. So until then I will catch up on Glee and some other shows.

A few weeks ago I went to a Ross near my house and had found a Color Club nail polish set for Poptastic! So, I headed to another Ross in the other direction near my house a few weeks after that to find that they had Color Club's Boho and Foiled polish sets. Which brings me to the point of today's post and that is that I found more nail polish there! Woohoo!

Halloween Costume

As promised, I am going to post pictures of myself in my costume. It was a fun thing to do. My outfit consisted of a 3/4 sleeve bright pink top with a purple rose lace tank top over it, a black bubble skirt, blue leggings, and some sparkly blue shoes I got at Payless a few years ago. If I had more money I probably would have gotten a wig to go along with the costume but instead I just got some glitter hair spray. My makeup involved pink and blue eyeshadow that blended to make purple and black gel liner to create a cat-eye. I used a blue body glitter for my lips.

Nail design for Halloween Costume

I did my nails! Yay! I did them to match my Halloween costume that I will be wearing on Saturday. Sadly, I work on Halloween night so I don't get to go trick or treating...with my nephew and niece. Yes, that's exactly why I go trick or treating...for them...

Moving on to my costume! My cousin bought it for me at Hot Topic. Originally we were going to be Snooki and JWOWW, however, I lack contacts to be JWOWW.

Sebo-Sebo D!

Right before my 26th birthday, I came down with what I thought was a heat rash on my scalp that spread to my neck. I got tea tree oil from the store and poured it all over my head and neck. It worked for a few days but then the itching got to me. It got to a point where I was ready to peel away at my skin with a knife. I'm not kidding. It also made me very self-conscious when I was at work since I work in retail and have to deal with the public.

I look like I was strangled.

Late night thoughts

Just as the title states, I'm having late night thoughts. Like what am I going to do with myself? Will I find a better paying job so I can pay my debts off faster? Will I be able to get a car next year? When's my lazy behind going to get back on track with loosing weight???? <- that is a very important question.
Another would be is my seborrheic dematitis ever going to go away? My luck the answer is: No.
In other news, I did do some nail designs! I didn't have internet for a day on Tuesday so I grabbed all of my nail stuff and got to work.
They came out decently. I want a better camera that grabs hold of the details a bit more. Any suggestions?

Frustrating

It's so frustrating when you're trying to come up with a nail design and nothing wants to work. Ever so annoying and I've decided that I need to plan designs out ahead of time before trying to put anything on my nails. :\ Hopefully, later today I should have something to post on here. We shall see.

Hectic

So things have been a bit hectic for me lately. The happenings of life I swear. I really want to get a better camera before posting pictures of nail designs but I will just have to wait until I have more money for that at a later date.

Other than that, my birthday happened. It was fun. I went with my sister, my cousin, and a friend to see Drag Queens and nothing can ever go wrong with that! <3 My dog, Beezee, will be turning 3 on Monday. My baby's getting up there in age. :(

I've been changing some things. And more changes might come in the future. We'll see what happens.

Ugghhhh

Okay so I've been sick for the past week or so. It had me so blah. I had a sore throat, congestion, and a stuffy nose. Needless to say, it was not fun to go to work with all of this. I did floor moves while wanting to die since I had a fever at the time.

In other news, I bought the Alex from Ikea! *cue angel choir* I just need to put it together and get shit out of my room that I don't want/need anymore to make space for it. And hopefully, in the near future, I'll be able to get a full size bed.

Beelzebub and I do not fit in my twin size. He takes up wayyyy too much room when he tries to get comfortable. Doesn't help that I keep thinking I'm going to fall off of my bed.

Carded

Today I grabbed some cookies at Sweetbay and happened to pass by the organic, natural department and grabbed some drink, thinking that it's healthy and whatnot. You know, I'm trying to lose weight so eating and drinking healthy but anyway so I go to check out and I got carded! I bought GT's Kombucha Gingerade. It made me a bit hesitant about drinking it while I was working. And even though I'm home now I'm going to wait until my next day off before trying to drink it.

I did do some research and if the Kombucha has less than 0.5% of alcohol, it's considered as a non-alcoholic beverage...I'm thinking this drink has more than that but not enough to get me drunk or give me a buzz.

Oh man, I hope I don't drink it and get pulled over by the cops and forced to take a breathalyzer. That would suck.

I'm trying again!

Today I worked

And it rained...

a lot.

I really hate the rain especially since I don't have my own car and I walk to work. Thankfully, my manager let one of my co-workers give me a ride home. Not that I live that far from work but still, had my manager not then there would've been several issues.

Other than that, today was uneventful as always. I'm going to work on a water mark for my pictures. Mostly for the nail art ones because I do not need people trying to steal my work. Pictures of my dog,  sure whatever but pictures of my nail art, I don't think so.

I should get to work on that. :P

Already failing

I'm already failing at the whole post a day thing. -__-

A post a day!

I am going to try to post everyday. I kind of suck at keeping journals updated. I tend to stop posting things and the journal becomes an after thought. But anyway, the dog is off at Petsmart getting groomed. My mother decided that he should get a hair cut since it's so hot outside. Plus, she's paying for it so yeah I agreed to it. I'll post a pic of him with his haircut later.

Hmm what else? Oh yeah, I worked today. There was shipment. I wanted to die. I'm pretty sure I pulled a muscle in my armpit...is that possible? Stupid bag of finch food. Stupid work.

The Dog

So, yes, I have a black Pomeranian named Beelzebub. The name he actually responses to is Beezee...sometimes. He's a bit crap and doesn't really like people. The only trick he knows is 'sit,' 'lay down,' and that's about it. He would be better trained if it were not for the fact that my mother and her husband let the dog do whatever he wants so he never listens to commands that are given to him.

But no matter what I still love him. He's my baby. I don't plan on having children so he is the one that I dote upon until the end of his days.
